Alright i'm going to try to keep it simple and would like if others can also lend tips. I'm only putting class how-to's for now. Going to bed but i'll make another post on the basics of the game and the do's and don't s.

Scout - Fast moving, double jumping, up-in-your-face playstyle. Use the scout's speed to your advantage. Never EVER stand still as a scout. Only 1 reason why you should be standing still and thats for waiting for the gates to open. Use the scout for guerrilla warfare tactics (hit and run). Remember that the scout's scatter gun (primary weapon) is most effective based upon how close you are. If you're in their face, expect high amounts of damage per shot. If you're far away, expect like 6 damage. If you ever see a medic + heavy pair, go for the medic first. Reason being is the heavy is no longer being healed while you're trying to take him down. If your health is low, use your speed to get out of the fight and look for health.

Soldier - Aim for feet and spam at the enemies when they are on capture point. Remember if you have your equalizer out, a medic cannot heal you. You can also reach places that you won't be able to reach by normally jumping by performing a Rocket Jump. To perform a Rocket Jump, simply look down and shoot your rocket while simultaneously pressing your jump button. You will lose health but you will be flying!

Pyro - Pyro has many roles and one of them is spy checking. While in your base, near your capture point, near friendly engineer builds, or just around teammates in general, hold down your attack button to have fire go everywhere. You can ignite cloaked spies. And if you ignite your teammate, THEY ARE NOT YOUR TEAMMATE. IT'S A DISGUISED SPY! You can NEVER ignite a teammate mainly because friendly fire is 99% of the time off. Only reason it would be on is before the round actually starts on some servers. Also, if you see a teammate on fire, use your Compression Blast (Mouse2) to get rid of the fire on your teammate! And when you see an enemy medic ubered with one of his teammates, use your compression to separate them. Either use it to knock the medic away which will cause the ubered enemy to no longer be ubered so your teammates can attack or you can compress blast the person who is ubered so they can cause no real damage to your team which will cause the medic to either stay ubered with them or look for another teammate to uber.

Demoman - As a demoman, use stickies for defense. Place them on your cap points or on walls where an enemy is most likely to come out. You can still set off your stickies if you have another weapon out. You can also reach places by trying to sticky jump. Simply put a sticky on the ground and run in front of it and jump while making it explode. 1 sticky is good enough. Also, as a demoman, use your pipe launcher from a distance to take out any engineer builds. The aoe (area of effect) from the explosions can destroy an engineer's nest!

Heavy - Always have a medic near by. Being overhealed by the medic can push your health from 300 to 450! Heavy has the most health out of all classes. Generally use the heavy to help push the team forward and take most of the damage while a medic heals.

Engineer - The moment the round starts, build a teleporter right outside of spawn. It's also good to build the sentry and dispenser in front of spawn since the resupply closet is near by so you can quickly build everything to level 3 as long as you're gonna use your teleporter to carry it with you. Carrying lvl 3 things is risky mainly cause if you die while carrying it, it gets destroyed immediately. Keep that in mind when you're thinking of moving lvl 3 things around in a gun fight. Also, always move lvl 3 exit teleporter close to the cap points. Make sure it's a good cover for your teammates so they're not teleporting literally in the battlefield but have it behind a corner or something thats very close to where your team is bottle necking with the enemy to help bring your teammates to the front lines quicker. It's also good to have a dispenser nearby to heal and replenish health to nearby teammates. You can use your sentry to either defend your other builds or to help with a push but if you decide to have it help the push, you're gonna be constantly repairing it and it has a high chance of being destroyed since the dps (damage per second) can be enough to take it out before you can swing once to repair. Also, be on the look out for spies. They are the most you have to look out for when near your builds. Suspect EVERYONE of being a spy and ask for a friendly pyro to spycheck for you.

Medic - This class is a must for all matches. While playing a medic, you should be constantly healing. Even if there is only one teamate and the fight is far away. Reason being is because constantly healing builds up the uber. So even in spawn waiting to move, HEAL. Waiting for gates to open, HEAL. You need to be constantly healing and looking out for low health teammates. Pocket healing is when you have many teammates around you and you keep switching between them to heal them all. It's good to do this to keep the team alive and have your numbers strong. One thing you should stay away from doing is pocket healing while you're ubering. It drains the uber faster that way. Only reason you shouldn't be healing is if no one is around you. Be dependent on your teammates to protect you as you should ALWAYS be healing them.

Sniper - As a sniper, constantly aim for the head while scoping. If you were to hit someone in the head while not scoping, you'll only do 50 dmg while if you scope and hit them in the head, it's an instant 150 dmg. Now the only people you have to actually have the sniper charge for a bit are Soldiers, Demomen, Pyros, and Heavies. Everyone else will usually die with 1 bullet to the head scoped unless they got overhealed by a heavy. If you see a medic healing a heavy, chances are the heavy is at 450 hp. You have to let the sniper charge ALL THE WAY to kill that heavy with one shot. But your top priority should ALWAYS be the medic as this helps your team push forward or defend. You can slow a push or stop an uber by simply getting rid of the enemy medic so keep that in mind when playing as a sniper

Spy - One of the most complicated classes to play as. If you die a lot playing as a spy, you may be playing him wrong. You must be patient playing as a spy. Use disguises constantly. Backstab medics and heavies. They are top priority along with removing engineer builds. To properly play spy, I can't truly tell you. You'll have to play as him more and more and get the feel of it. Don't just put a disguise on and run head on towards the enemies. You'll be so noticeable. Try to stay away from pyros since they ahve a tendency to randomly through fire everywhere and that would give your cover away. When disguised, you have to have the mindset of the enemy. Running towards them while your team is pushing isn't good. Running backwards towards them gives the impression your a teammate falling back. But be careful because teammates can run through each other while enemies block each other so if you're blocking an enemy, they'll know you're a spy.[u]
